Star Gymnastics has launched an impressive competition season, with athletes showcasing their dedication and talent across multiple meets. Most of our Bronze and Silver teams are competing for their first time this season and we’re excited to watch them grow. We are also proud to introduce our two gymnasts who have leveled up to the max in the highest competitive level—Diamond. Harbor Winder and Ady Christiansen, both showcasing new, big skills this season.
Season Opener:
Riverton, Wyoming
The team made a statement at their first meet in Riverton, Wyoming, competing across five levels—Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.
Bronze & Silver Levels saw exciting debuts, with Isabelle Shockey earning 1st on Beam and Ellie Peterson taking 1st on Vault for Silver.
Gold Team took 1st place overall, with Ayvree Lewis and Lucy Hirschi earning All-Around Champion titles. Standout performances included:
•Ayvree Lewis – 1st on Bars, Beam, and Floor, 3rd on Vault
•Scarlet Tipton – 1st on Bars (9.5!), 1st on Floor, 3rd on Vault and Beam
•Ella Occhi – Tied for 1st on Bars
•Laila Mosgeller – 2nd on Vault, Beam, and Floor, 3rd All-Around
Platinum Team also secured 1st place, with Claira Roesler dominating the All-Around and sweeping 1st place on Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor. Dylan Kallgren and Ady Christiansen added strong placements to secure the team win.

Harbor Winder took 1st on Bars, 2nd on Vault and Beam, and 2nd All-Around.
Building Momentum: Missy Marlow Invitational
At the Missy Marlow Wasatch Invitational in Layton, Utah, our Gold Level secured the Team award in 3rd place. Individual highlights included:
•Ayvree Lewis – 1st Bars & Beam, 3rd Floor, 2nd All-Around
•Scarlet Tipton – 1st Bars
•Ella Occhi – 2nd Bars, 3rd Vault
Gaining Strength: The Rumble in the Jungle in Pocatello, Idaho, brought great competition and fun energy. The Gold Team secured another 3rd place award, with Laila Mosgeller taking 1st All-Around. Individual highlights included:

Breeslynn Dyches also earned 2nd place on Beam.
Gold:

Rising to the Challenge: Crystal Cup Draper, Utah
Most recently, Star Gymnastics took on some of Utah’s toughest competition at the Crystal Cup in Draper, Utah (Feb 6-8), proving that Wyoming gymnasts can hold their own against elite talent.
Gold:
Laila Mosgeller dominated on Vault, winning 1st place with a huge 9.4, along with 3rd on Bars and 2nd in the All-Around.
Ella Occhi delivered a stellar Beam routine, earning 1st place, as well as 3rd on Vault and 3rd All-Around.
Scarlet Tipton showed her strength on Bars, securing 2nd place.
Platinum:
Katelynn Gaughan took 2nd in the all around with a huge 36.5 points.
Diamond:
Harbor takes 2nd on the Floor exercise with a big score 9.525
Ady Christiansen comes in 5th on the floor!
The team continues to gain experience and confidence as they prepare for upcoming competitions!
What’s Next for Star Gymnastics?
With the season in full swing, the team is gearing up for exciting upcoming meets:
•Feb 20-23: Winter Classic – Salt Lake City, UT
•March 1: Yellowstone Invitational – Rexburg, ID
•March 13-16: State Championships – Gillette, WY
