Mike Lahoe

Mike Lahoe

Darrel Michael Lahoe “Mike” passed away on February 13, 2025 at his home in Pinedale, Wyoming.

Mike was born in Ogden, Utah to Elsie Murphy and Joseph Lahoe on November 6, 1955. He spent many years of his life traveling from place to place. However, Wyoming is where his heart was and where he finally decided to plant some roots and call it home.

Mike spent the last 14 years of his life working at the Wapika Ranch, the job that he loved.  Mike loved his kids and grandkids above all else.  He couldn’t have been more proud of them.  Mike was very proud of their accomplishments, even if it was the grandkids just trying their best at sports.  He loved to be on the back of a horse in God’s country, hunting, fishing, and truly anything outdoors.

Mike was loved by friends and family from all around.

His memory continues to live on through his family including his seven children, Mike & Kristi Lahoe of Delta, Colorado, Mindi Lahoe of Bartow, Florida., Joseph Wilson, Cole Lahoe, KC and Aly Lahoe of Thermopolis, Wyoming, Trapper & Kacii Lahoe of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Feather and Stockton Coble of Thermopolis, Wyoming, his sister Gayle Ann Lahoe Ostrom, and a loving group of grandchildren.

Mike was met with open arms by his heavenly family, including his mother Elsie, his father Joseph, three of his siblings, Bob Lahoe, Jody Parker, Shirley Eckman, as well as two of his grandchildren, Cole Lahoe and Christopher Thomas.

A Celebration of life will be held in Boulder, Wyoming at the Boulder Community Center on March 9, 2025 at 1 p.m.

The family would like to invite and welcome anyone that would like to attend, please come if you can make it. This will be an open event.

Loyce Roberts

Loyce Roberts

Loyce Mary Carter Roberts, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on April 21, 1948, in Afton, Wyoming, to Virgil and Ruby Helm Carter.

Loyce married her high school sweetheart, Kendall C. Roberts, on August 12, 1966, in the Idaho Falls Temple, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love, faith, and laughter. Loyce had an undeniable zest for life and a heart that welcomed all. She never met a stranger, only friends she hadn’t yet made. Whether spending hours on the phone, chatting in her home, or simply brightening someone’s day with her quick wit, she had a way of making everyone feel heard, loved, and valued. Known as the class clown in high school, her humor remained a hallmark of her personality throughout her life—even playfully teasing her caregivers until her final moments.

Loyce deeply loved the Lord and dedicated her life to serving Him. She held many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving at both the stake and ward levels in the Relief Society, Young Women’s, and Primary organizations. Her faith and service were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Of all the roles she cherished, being a grandmother was her greatest joy. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and carried the title of “Grandma” with deep pride and devotion. Her love extended beyond her family to the many children at Etna Elementary, where she worked as the school librarian. To them, she wasn’t just a librarian—she was “Grandma,” a storyteller, a mentor, and a source of warmth and encouragement.

Loyce’s legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a family who adored her and countless friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Services: The family will greet loved ones at a viewing on Friday, February 21, from 6–8 p.m. at the Thayne Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, at the Etna Ward Chapel, with a viewing from 10:30–11:30 a.m., followed by the funeral at 12:00 Noon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Roberts; her parents, Ruby and Virgil Carter; and her sisters, Linda and Lolita.

She is survived by her daughter, Kenna (Vance) Schwab, and their children: Tyler Schwab, Kalin Schwab, Shay (Morgen) Dalebout, and Seth (Alexia) Schwab. She is also survived by her son, Alan (Katie) Roberts, and their children: Remington (Taylor) Lindley, Adelaide Roberts, and Elder Drake Roberts. She is survived by her daughter Katy Roberts.
