• First market is this Saturday from 10-2 with bigger events, more vendors, and community spirit
With the summer nearly upon us, events have already been filling up local calendars, including the upcoming Star Valley Street Market, beginning its first market on Saturday, May 10 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
Organizer Mica Don is excited to have “bigger and better events” to be a part of with more vendors than years past. Over 40 vendors will be involved in this year’s series of street markets and will feature farm fresh meats, dairy and produce along with other goods and craft booths.
There will also be some food trucks this year, with vendor positions still available for those interested in getting on the list.
Don shared her hopes for this year saying, “This is going to help local friends and family to traject their business with these bigger events.”
As locals and visitors alike attend events and stop by the Star Valley Street Market, Don shares her passion for camaraderie among people to “come together as a community to support one another during hard times, especially in the current economy.”
One of the larger events with several organizers working together will be with this year’s August 22 and 23 at the “Shoot and Shop” event, where the Star Valley Street Market and Wyoming Desperados Mounted Shooters will provide entertainment, raise funds for causes and bring together community.
