She married Steven Andrew Madsen on February 4, 1964 in Paris, Idaho. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Steve and Sherry enjoyed their summers in Star Valley, and their winter months were spent in Arizona where they made lifelong friends. Sherry enjoyed tying quilts, golfing, fishing, watching NASCAR, and annual family Harley rides. She loved her family more than anything and protected them with everything she had. She left her grandkids with lifelong memories they will always cherish and made sure each grandchild knew how truly special they were. Sherry’s Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas Village were one of a kind. She made sure loved ones always had a warm quilt or afghan. She is also survived by her siblings, Carol (James) Yount, Cinda Barton, Boyd (Fredi) Barney, and Lori Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kelly Barney and Scott Hutchison, and her parents, including her step-father, Vergil Hutchison.
