Idaho State Police is investigating an accident in Swan Valley involving an activity bus from Lincoln County School District No. 2.
According to ISP, the incident occurred on Saturday, January 18 at 3:10 p.m. on U.S. 26 east of Irwin. A 2016 Polaris Ranger utility vehicle, driven by a 56-year-old male from Rigby, Idaho was traveling eastbound when the Ranger was struck by a 2021 Bluebird School Bus, which was also traveling eastbound on the highway.
LCSD2 confirmed that the bus was transporting high school wrestlers back home from a tournament in Idaho Falls.
No injuries were reported. Idaho State Police stated that the crash remains under investigation.
