Thayne Senior Center releases guidelines for patrons; offers meal delivery

The Thayne Senior Center is following the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are taking precautions to reduce the risk of transmission. Currently this included providing information and education on COVID-19 to our employees, volunteers and patrons.

We are asking people to stay home and contact their medical providers if:

– They have traveled internationally within the last 14 days.

-Traveled to an area in the United States infected with COVID-19.

-Show signs of respiratory infection including fever over 100 degrees, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath

-They have been in contact with someone who has СOVID-19 or is under investigation for COVID-19.

The Wyoming Department of Health Aging Division has temporarily approved The Thayne Senior Center to provide take-out meals and home delivered meals to those seniors that need to stay home or have preexisting medical conditions in order to limit exposure to COVID-19.

If you would like to pick up a meal or have one delivered, please call the center to make arrangements. Please notify the center no later than 9am if you need a meal that day.

If you have any questions please contact us at 307-883-2678.
