There will be a prescribed burn today on the Basis Creek.

The Kemmerer Ranger District will be lighting the test fire for Basin Ck. RX this afternoon (most likely at noon or one) and if that goes as planned, they will continue with ignitions. This should be a 1-2 day burn with monitoring to follow.

A news release went out in April, all information can be used with the exception, Indian Creek unit and the West Fork of Hams Creek unit have been completed. Fire information for this prescribed fire and all fire information can be found on Tetonfires website.
