It doesn’t take a meteorologist to see that several feet of ice and snow are still covering the valley floor. However weather forecasts continue to call for more snow accumulation nearly every day this week. The combination of the two have forced the postponement of Wednesday’s soccer matches versus Evanston and the cancelation of the track and field meet hosting Pinedale and Jackson on Friday.

Star Valley High School Activities Director, Rob Erickson, confirmed the information on Wednesday morning after several more inches of snow accumulation.  An additional 2-5 inches of snow is expected on Friday.

With LCSD No. 2 Spring Break coming up next week, the rescheduled soccer matches with Evanston will be pushed into April or May.
