This week for Kick It or Keep It, a rock band with local ties has a song up for vote.
Patti Fiasco is a group born right here in Wyoming. Two of the band’s members, Dee Tyler and Ansel Foxley, grew up in Star Valley. The two grew up in Star Valley playing music together and later moved to Laramie, Wyoming where they continued their music growth playing in their band The Green Street Majority.
They later teamed up with charismatic front lady Alysia Kraft and renamed the band The Patti Fiasco where they have played in many venues across the west be finally landing in Fort Collins, Colorado’s fertile music scene.
About a year ago the group entered in a contest among hundreds of other bands for the opportunity to open for Bon Jovi and won.
In a devastating blow Bon Jovi had to cancel his Pepsi center appearance last year, but made good on the deal by inviting them back for this year’s concert.
One of Patti Fiasco’s top songs is titled “Saved By Rock n’ Roll.” Listen to the song and then vote to Kick It if you don’t like the song, or Keep It if you do. Vote by texting 307-203-4637. Voting will close at noon on Monday.
