The National Weather Service is forecasting a very windy day in the area. Star Valley may see gusts of 30 mph at points during the day.
“A strong cold front will move across the area today. Snow and wind will increase northern and western mountains this morning. Strong downslope winds with gusts over 60 mph are expected across portions of central and southern Wyoming through this evening.”
The NWS is also forecasting blowing and drifting snow in Teton, Togwotee and Powder River Passes which will cause near zero visibility at times.
