A Utah teen who was missing in the area surrounding Pinedale has been found and reportedly is in good health.

Garrett Hunter went missing in the Wind River area prompting a search by many Sublette County organizations. The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office stated that the boy had been found via their Facebook page.

According to authorities, he was located approximately one mile from his original camp in a drainage near Junction Lake. Due to darkness upon his discovery, the group decided to make camp and work on his extraction Monday.

Hunter was separated from a scout group participating in a 50-mile hike in the area.
