Trying to work one’s way through college is becoming a more difficult concept. Most recently, a staff at Student Loan Hero compiled a list of cities where it is the easiest to attend school and pay as you go.
Coming in at #4 on that list is Rexburg, Idaho where the campus of Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYU-I) lists annual tuition and fees at $4,018, the lowest of any school listed in the top-ten.
Cheney, Washington, home of Eastern Washington University, led the list. The second-ranked city was Adelphi, Maryland which is the home to The University of Maryland University College.
Hays, Kansas was third on the list, home of Fort Hays University.
According to the data compiled by the team of experts, there are only 41 cities in the United States where students can realistically work their way through school.
Other regional schools that made the list included Dillon, Montana (University of Montana-Western, #18), St. George, Utah ( Dixie State University, #24), Laramie, Wyoming (University of Wyoming, #30) and Provo-Orem, Utah (Brigham Young University, #37).
