Numbers for the 2018 Wyoming Primary Election are being tallied across the state. In Lincoln County there was a total of 4,362 votes cast. All results are considered unofficial.
In the county commissioner race, incumbents Jerry T Harmon and Robert E. King easily moved on to the General Election. Harmon received 2,464 (31.2%) votes and King brought in 1,937 (24.5%).
In the race for County Clerk, April Brunski defeated Lance Oviatt with 2,495 (63.2%) to 1,207 (30.6%).
In the campaign for County Coroner, Dain Schwab carried 59.4% of the votes and a total of 2,345 to defeat William W. Ball who finished with 1,410 votes (35.7%).
At the state level the position of governor is up for grabs with Matt Mead wrapping up his second term. It was a tight race on the Republican side in Lincoln County with Foster Fries picking up 1,239 votes (31.4%). Harriet M. Hageman tallied 959 (24.3%). Mark Gordon carried the statewide race but finished third in Lincoln County with 803 votes (20.3%). Sam E. Galeotos finished with 516 votes for 13.1%).
Leland Christensen carried the race for State Treasurer in Lincoln County as he defeated Curt Meier and Ron Redo.
Nathan Winters took Lincoln County for State Auditor over Kristi Racines.
Finally it was the incumbent John Barrasso easily defeating all challengers on the Republican side in Lincoln County for the U.S. Senate. Liz Cheney likewise dominated the race for U.S. Representative in the county.
