SVI Media covers five different high schools on a weekly basis. From high-definition video to high-quality digital audio and internet coverage. Here’s a look at how the teams under the SVI umbrella performed over the weekend.
• Football
Kemmerer Rangers: Lost to Greybull 26-14. The Rangers had a great start and led the game 14-0 before the Buffaloes gained their footing and rattled off 26 unanswered points.
Pinedale Wranglers: Lost to Mountain View 21-14. PHS went toe-to-toe with the defending 2A champion Mountain View Buffaloes with the two teams tied 14-14 late in the game. The Buffs scored the winning touchdown with 0:51 remaining in the game for a final score of 21-14.
Cokeville Panthers: Won vs Green River JV 44-7. In a Thursday afternoon game, the Panthers remained undefeated with a one-sided 44-7 rout of the Green River Wolves junior varsity team.
Bear Lake Bears: Lost at Soda Springs 42-16. In a game at Soda Springs between two teams sporting a losing record and needing a victory, the Cardinals pulled away for a comfortable 42-16 victory, handing the Bears their fifth straight loss of the season.
Star Valley Braves: Won at Powell 14-7. Star Valley won their third straight game in a bruising victory on the road in Powell where they snapped a five-game losing streak. The win sets up a big match up on the road with rival Jackson this next Friday.
• Volleyball
Star Valley Lady Braves: Won at Jackson 3-0, Won vs Green River 3-1. Olivia Muir had 15 Kills and McKenna Brog collected nine as the Lady Braves easily swept the Lady Broncs, 25-9, 25-11 & 25-11.

Cokeville Lady Panthers: Won at Rich County (UT) 3-0. The top-ranked Lady Panthers won their 17th match of the season as they swept the Rebels 25-18, 25-23 & 25-23.
Kemmerer Rangers: In the Gold Bracket of the Thermopolis Tournament, the Rangers fell to Wind River 2-1 (18-25, 25-23, 8-15)
Pinedale Lady Wranglers: PHS lost a hard-fought match to #3 Greybull 2-1 in the Gold Bracket of the Thermopolis Tournament (25-19, 25-27 & 12-15).
• Cross-Country
Bear Lake Lady Bears: The girls long-distance runners finished sixth in the 17-team field at the Rob Campbell Invite in Shelley, Idaho. BLHS finished with 153 team points, just one behind Sugar-Salem who had 152. Jackson (WY) easily won the event with a team score of 84.
Star Valley Lady Braves: The Lady Braves varsity team traveled to Portland, Oregon and ran in the Division 2 category, finishing sixth in a 22-team field. The varsity boys finished eighth in a 23-team field in the Varsity 1 category. SVHS sent a second varsity team to the Rob Campbell Invite where the Lady Braves finished with 368 team points, placing 15th out of 17 teams. The second varsity team for the Braves also finished 15th out of 18 teams with 440 team points.
• Girls Swimming
Kemmerer Lady Rangers: The KHS swim team was in Pinedale for the PHS Invitational where they scored 110 team points and finished 6th out of seven teams.
Pinedale (Sublette): The home team was third overall as they combined with Big Piney and scored 226 points. The Lander Tigers won the event with 326 points.
