Casper Police have detained a suspect following a shooting at Wyoming Medical Center Monday morning.

The Casper Police Department released a statement saying that gunshots were heard inside the medical facility at 1:06 AM.  Upon arrival, officers located a male subject who was subsequently taken into custody.

Police say no one was injured during the incident and there is no current threat to the community.  The case is actively under investigation, and Casper Police say more details will be released later today.
