On May 15, 2019, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a crash south of N Main St. and Garrett Way, which is also
US30, in Pocatello.  Bryan Williams, age 36, of Grace was driving southbound on N Main St. in an International truck hauling an excavator on a trailer.
As Williams drove under a railroad bridge, the boom from the excavator struck the bridge and a gas pipeline that runs alongside it.  The right lane of eastbound travel was briefly blocked while the bridge and pipeline were inspected.  The investigation is ongoing.
