The Mammoth Hot Springs Campground is the only campground in Yellowstone open year-round. Located just five miles from the park’s northern entrance, it’s situated close to one of the only legal thermal soaking areas in the park—the Boiling River. Its 85 nonelectric sites include firepits with grates and picnic tables as well as shared access to flushing toilets, food storage boxes, and potable water.
