SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz announced Tuesday it signed Jarrell Brantley and Justin Wright-Foreman to two-way contracts.

Both players were two of the Jazz’s three second-round draft picks selected in June. The team selected Brantley at No. 50 and Wright-Foreman at No. 53.
Two-way contracts are for players who have been in the league four seasons or less and are officially on the team, but only up to 45 days. These players spend most of their time in the NBA G-League. So the two draft picks will spend most of their time with the SLC Stars.
Brantley is from South Carolina and played basketball with College of Charleston where he finished top 10 in the program’s history in points, rebounds, and steals.
In the Salt Lake Summer League he averaged 13.5 points per game and pulled down five rebounds and dished out one assist per contest. He also played two games at the Las Vegas Summer League.
Wright-Foreman played his college ball at Hofstra. He won back-to-back Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year. He also averaged 21.1 points per game on 51% shooting his senior year.
He played two games at the Salt Lake Summer League and two games at the Vegas Summer League.
Jazz sign Miye Oni
The team also officially signed Miye Oni, the No. 58 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. The terms of the contract were not released.

Oni played at Yale and is the first Ivy League draft pick since Jerome Allen in 1995, per the Utah Jazz.
He played two games in the Salt Lake Summer League averaging 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.6 assists in 27.0 minutes. He also played two games in the Vegas Summer League.
The Jazz have yet to officially announce the signings of center Ed Davis, power forward Jeff Green, and point guard Emmanuel Mudiay. This is an attempt to keep cap space open for other possible signings. They are using cap exceptions to sign those three players.
