The Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies visited Star Valley on Wednesday, April 2 with their mobile food pantry.  The event was part of the Wyoming Hunger Initiative’s efforts to fight hunger during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The food was donated to local families in need at the Afton Readiness Center.  More information about the Wyoming Hunger Initiative can be found at NoHunerWyo.org, which includes county by county resources.

In addition, a local food drive is planned for this weekend and next week.  Donations can be dropped off to the Afton Food Pantry and Thayne Food Bank Saturday morning from 8-10 am or Monday-Wednesday from 4-6 pm.
