Afton and Lincoln County law enforcement, along with Lower Valley Energy crews are at the site of a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 89.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office at 5 a.m. a female juvenile in a north-bound sedan left the road and struck a power pole, collapsing the pole over the front of the vehicle.
Information on the occupant of the vehicle and the status of power in that area is still in question as of this Friday moring May 8. Additional information is expected later in the morning.
