UPDATE: The Amber Alert for Savannah Camele issued on behalf of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has been cancelled. Both the child and suspect have been located.
ORIGINAL: Most residents in Star Valley and throughout Wyoming received an Amber Alert on their cell phones Saturday afternoon, May 9. The alert was for a “White 2006 Ford Explorer” with a “broken back window with plastic and black tape.”
The Wyoming High Patrol provided more information, saying the alert was issued on behalf of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado.
According to WHP, the alert is for the abduction of Savannah Camele, 3-year-old female, brown hair, brown eyes. Last seen wearing a cheetah print romper/onesie. The suspect is Ricky Gilbert Trujillo, 53-year old male, 5’7″, 165, brown hair, brown eyes. Trujillo was last seen wearing a black and blue jersey and has tattoo on his neck of barbed wire, tattoos w/skulls.
The white 2006 Ford Explorer has Colorado plates: AGA013.
