On the evening of Saturday June 6, authorities with the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) put out a request via their Facebook page for assistance in locating a missing woman.
Mary Latham of Clearmont, Wyoming was reported as last being seen on Friday June 5, at approximately 1 p.m. at a residence on WYO 353 in Boulder. She was reported as to have been driving a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee which was red in color but was traveling in an unknown direction.
As of Sunday June 7, at 9:25 a.m. the SCSO reported that Ms. Latham had been found and that further information would be released as it became available.
As of 4:26 p.m. on Sunday June 7, the following statement was posted by the SCSO:
“Early this morning a friend of the family located Mary Latham’s vehicle alongside a BLM road in Sublette County. Friends and family called Mary by her middle name, Lynne. The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office was notified and responded to the location. Unfortunately Lynne had passed away. Cause of death is still being investigated at this time. We extend our deepest sympathy to the Latham and Richie family and ask that you respect their privacy at this time. This is a devastating loss for the family and our community.”
