Kick It or Keep It alternates back to Swift 98 this week with a new song from the South Korean band BTS.
“Dynamite” was released by the group on Friday, August 21, and his become an instant hit. Not only is the original song currently #1 on the iTunes downloads chart, but the instrumental version is #2, the EDM Remix #4 and the Acoustic Remix #5.
As of Monday morning, the music video on YouTube had nearly 180 million views. The video was viewed over 101 million times within the first 24 hours of it’s release… a YouTube record.
“Dynamite” is the first single from BTS that is sung entirely in English. The band said they wanted the song to convey “positive vibes, energy, hope, love, the purity, everything”.
