WEST YELLOWSTONE, Montana — A road in Yellowstone National Park is still closed as around 3,000 gallons of gasoline spilled out of a semi-truck tanker Thursday.
Park officials say Grand Loop Road is still closed from Mud Volcano to Fishing Bridge Junction. Park staff are still assessing the impacts on the spill.
Currently, the park does not believe any of the gas spilled into the Yellowstone River.
Those interested in visiting Mug Volcano can still do so by driving from the North. The East Entrance Road to Fishing Bridge Junction is still open. Visitors can also access Fishing Bridge Junction from the south, the park reports.
