The new Bomgaars store opened for business last week in Afton. This week the grand opening celebration will take place.
Grand opening festivities include a ribbon cutting on Thursday, December 3 at 10:30 a.m. The community is invited to come out and take part.
The Afton location includes a 36,000 square foot store, that employees between 15-20 people from the local area.
According to local store manager Stephanie Palmer, Bomgaars has been looking for a location in the Star Valley area for “a long time.”
“It was really nice when this location became available,” she said. “The community has been so wonderful and welcoming. The excitement has been so great. Opening this store has just been such a wonderful experience.”
As part of the grand opening celebration, there will be giveaways and prize drawings.
Grand opening discounts and sales will continue through December 6.
See the Bomgaars insert in the December 2, 2020 edition of the Star Valley Independent for a full list of sale items and prizes.
