About 25 students, along with their parents, attended the South Lincoln County 4-H open house at the South Lincoln Training and Events Center in Kemmerer Wednesday night, January 20. Students from ages 8 to 18 could sign up for 4-H classes that included such subjects as shooting sports, animals, science and technology, livestock judging, expressive arts and natural resources for 2021. Kemmerer 4H director Shaily Harshbarger says the 4-H are also in need of volunteers. Harshbarger says the purpose of 4-H is to help youth acquire knowledge to become productive contributors to society.
