Lincoln County with 28 active COVID-19 cases

As of 3 p.m. Monday, March 29, the number of laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases seen since the disease was first diagnosed in the state in mid-March stood at 47,522, an increase of 371 cases over the 47,181 reported on March 22.

The greatest increase in confirmed coronavirus cases within the past week was in Laramie County, which reported an additional 90 cases.  Teton County had 60 new cases; Sweetwater County had 54; Fremont County had 33; Lincoln County had 23; Natrona County had 22; Campbell County had 15; Albany, Sheridan and Uinta counties all reported 14 new cases; Sublette County had nine; Big Horn and Carbon counties had five new cases each; Park County had four; Goshen County had three; Platte County had two; Crook, Johnson, Washakie and Weston counties all reported just one new case.

There was no change in the past week in the number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in  Converse, Hot Springs and Niobrara counties.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the state went unchanged during the week: It was 419, the same number of active cases reported on March 22.
