The Nauvoo Experience musical fireside has come to Grover, Wyoming. The focus is to “Create a musical history of Nauvoo”, Says Gregg Draney, Lyricist.
Draney spoke with SVI about the fireside saying, “This group is extremely talented and should appeal to teenager on up.”
The group got together this spring, so they have yet to create a name, but they are booked for most weekends in the summer from California to Illinois.
“All of us in this group served at the same time in Nauvoo as missionaries for the [Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints]. It is very special to us, so we decided to create a musical history of Nauvoo.”
Music is based off of experiences the group had while in Nauvoo on their missions as well as the history that impacted their lives.
The performance will be held Sunday, July 18 at 6 p.m. at the Grover-Auburn Church building located at 1156 Highway 237 in Grover.
