With just days left in the season the Star Valley Braves Wrestling team traveled to Lander for a one-day 3A West Regional Tournament and came away champs with a total of 222.0 team points.
Green River was second with 187.0 and Cody was third with 162.5. The Pinedale Wranglers were close behind at 160.0.
A total of seven Star Valley grapplers advanced to the finals with Zac Patterson (182) and Harrison Hoopes (195) coming away with championships. Both Patterson and Hoopes are undefeated on the season.
Star Valley will now prep for the Wyoming State Championships at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper next weekend where they will be attempting to win the program’s seventh consecutive team title.
