Lincoln County School District #1 will have a regular school day on Thursday, January 5th. Superintendent Teresa Chaulk said yhere will be some modifications to a few bus routes in town. If your child’s pick-up is modified someone from the transportation department or the school will contact you.

The buses will not be picking up at Antelope Ridge or Airport Road.

“Please be patient if the bus runs a little late,” said Superintendent Chaulk. “There is still a lot of snow on the streets and we will do our best to run on time. The city is working hard to get the snow removed; it is just a lot of snow and takes time.”

Kemmerer area schools in LCSD1 have been closed for two days following a snowstorm that hit western Wyoming over the New Year holiday.
