Despite the presence of massive amounts of snow that remain throughout Star Valley, several communities and organizations are offering Easter Egg Hunts to families on Saturday, April 8.
• Town of Afton: UPDATE,: Because of snow the Town of Afton is partnering with the River of Life Church and will combining the town’s easter egg hunt at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds at 11:00 a.m.. Families or businesses who wish to donate eggs to the hunt can drop them at Town Hall. Expect prizes and age divisions.
• Town of Thayne: 10:00 a.m. at the Thayne Community Center. This hunt offers different stations for age groups. When you arrive, please go directly to your age-appropriate station. Divisions include ages 0-3, 4-6, 8-11 and 12-16. 0-3 years old will be in the hallways of the building. Divisions 4-6 and 8-11 will be on the outdoor lawns of the center. Twelve-16 year olds will hunt in the gym, 0-3 in hallway. The Easter Bunny is expected to be in attendance.
• Town of Star Valley Ranch: 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Creek Park. Age divisions include 1-3 years, 4-6 years and 7-9 years. Expect hot cocoa, a visit with the Easter Bunny and a few golden eggs with special prizes.
• Town of Alpine: 10:00 a.m. at the Donn Wooden Civic Center. Guests 0-12 years old are invited.
• Broulims, Alpine: in-store Easter egg hunt on Saturday April 8 at noon for kids 10 and under.
• Lincoln County Fairgrounds at 11:00 a.m. Sponsored by River of Life Star Valley. This hunt is for friends who are 0-18 years old, with separate divisions for different age groups. Plan to enjoy food, prizes, and visits with local First Responders.
• Town of Cokeville – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cokeville Town Hall.
