The SVHS Basketball teams will wrap of their first weekend of competition on Saturday December 9 and will tuck their fourth game of the weekend under their waistband. What they learn from the slate could be elements that help them return to the State tournament.

On the final day the Star Valley teams will battle perennial athletic powerhouse Sheridan High School from Fremont County as part of the Strannigan Invitational in Riverton.

The Lady Braves (0-3) will tip-off their varsity contest with the Lady Broncs (2-0) at 3 p.m. The boys varsity game will follow at a scheduled time of 4:30 p.m. The Braves are (1-2) on the weekend while the Broncs are (1-1). Sheridan will have a double-header on Saturday with morning games against Rawlins.

Audio of the games will also be carried via traditional radio on Swift 98 in the Star Valley area.
