Phone lines are back in operation after landline service in Teton County, Bondurant and Star Valley was lost due to flooding at a telecommunications building in Jackson Wednesday evening.
The outage caused some landline phones to be inoperable. 911 emergency calls for both Jackson and Star Valley were rerouted to the Kemmerer Dispatch Office.
Teton County Emergency Management has since said that the flooded telecommunication infrastructure has been stabilized and phone systems, including 911, should now be operating normally.
