The Braves rolled past Marsh Valley in a previous meeting due to some outside sharp-shooting. With a new game on tap the players were tasked with not letting the previous game affect Tuesday night’s outing. 

Having won three straight since that loss to the Braves, the Eagles were more than game to try and earn some payback and at the half, the only difference on the scoreboard was a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Dylan Shumway, 33-30. 

The second-half was a different story as Star Valley rode the hot shooting of Max Jensen who hit four three-point baskets in the third period alone. Jensen went on to finish with 32 points and made an amazing seven of eight baskets from long-range. 

A close game was blown open with the lead swelling to as large as 23 points in an 84-67 final. Cooper and Kash Lancaster also finished in double-figures with 14 and 12 points respectively. Zane Hedges led the team with five rebounds and chipped in with nine points. 

The win improved the Braves to (9-3) overall and the squad has won eight of it’s last nine games. Up next in a busy week of action will be a return to conference play in a road game at Evanston on Thursday evening with a 7:30 p.m. tip-time. The week concludes with a Saturday game on the home court against Green River at 5 p.m.
