Two long-time and highly successful coaches from Star Valley have been named as finalists for National Coach of the Year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSCA).

Ballard Johnson has been named as a Boys Assistant Finalist and Ty Draney has been announced as a finalist for the Boys Cross-Country team. The pair joined a list released by the WCA over the weekend.

The Wyoming Coaches Association (WCA) made the announcement this week. The convention will be held in Bismarck, North Dakota June 22-27.
