The Lady Braves basketball season came to an end on Friday morning in a 39-31 loss to the Kelly Walsh Trojans at the 4A State Basketball Tournament. 

Much like they have all season, the Star Valley girls battled with their trademark defense and the two teams were close throughout the contest with the score being tied late. The Trojans were able to finish the game with some clutch baskets and free throws to put the game away.

Kenlee Engelhardt and Kambree Johnson led the scoring for the Lady Braves with eight points each. Sheridan Coles pitched in seven and Emily Dana scored four. Engelhardt also had the game-high of six steals. 

Kelly Walsh was led by Kennedy Davila who finished with 12 points which included a perfect day from the free throw line at six for six. 

Lillian Hudson scored eight points and pulled down ten rebounds

It was the final game for the Star Valley seniors which includes Engelhardt, Coles, Bailey Erickson, Katie Dandridge and Makayla Christiansen.
