Travis Coil
Travis “Tricky T” Eugene Coil passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Travis was born on July 8, 1965 to Donald Eugene Coil and Kaye (Goodwin), Kaye later remarried to Alexander “Scott” Adams and they raised Travis at their home near Kinnear, Wyoming. Travis graduated from Riverton High School in 1983. After high school, Travis enlisted in the United States Navy, and later went on to study at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona.
Travis had a notable relationship with Dede Nidiffer to which his only son, Tanner, was born in December 1992.
After time in both Arizona and Montana, Travis followed his heart back to Wyoming where he made his home in Jackson, and eventually Alpine.
Travis had a passion for dancing, playing pool, and artifact collecting. His passions led him to be a popular dance teacher, and helped spawn the idea for his consignment business, Tricky Ts Trading Post. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, playful personality, competitive nature and his love of his friends and family.
Travis is survived by his son, Tanner Nidiffer, half-brother Thomas B Coil, half-sister Kimberly Collins, other half-siblings, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Travis is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Alpine Civic Center, Alpine, Wyoming.
Mary Crook
Mary Naomi Jeppson Crook was born July 1, 1930 and passed away April 1, 2024.
She married Lyman Crook in the spring of 1985.
Funeral Services will be held at noon on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at East Lincoln Way Chapel in Cheyenne.
A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
