“Built by the community, for the community.”
After a year and a half of planning, PUTTZ Mini Golf in Etna, located at JACZ Drive-In, will officially open this Friday at 11 a.m. Co-owner Alex Ivie described the 19-hole course as “equally fun and challenging” for all ages.
Hole sponsors were able to take to the course last weekend, where the 19 sponsor teams competed to complete the course, ending in a victory for DNS Construction, who sponsor Hole 10 on the course.
The course, built by Big Sky Minigolf Construction, reflects the community spirit with the motto “Built by the community, for the community.”
Ivie highlighted the course to be fun for those who are about to be out of school for the summer saying, “teenagers will have a great time out there.”
The first open day is this Friday at 11 a.m. with the course being open through Saturday as well as on Memorial Day, for those looking for something new to try in the valley. Summer hours will begin May 31 through August 24, Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. with a grand opening celebration planned on June 14. Cost to play for single rounds is as follows:
Little Putterz (Ages 0-4) FREE
Child (Ages 4-12) $6.00
Adult (Ages 12+) $10.00
Private party events are available to be scheduled on the course.
Updates on the grand opening celebration on June 14, as well as other updates, can be found posted to the PUTTZ Mini Golf Facebook and Instagram (@puttzminigolfwyoming) accounts.
Sponsors of the holes were able to put in design requests for their sponsored hole and Ivie hopes that those who come to play “has a great time and can appreciate the creativity that went into this.”
