• Roads, bridges and water lines are on the summer agenda.

Star Valley Ranch has asphalt road projects, two bridge improvements and a final set of water lines planned as part of the 2024 summer construction.

“There are two asphalt projects with Brambleberry [Dr] and maintenance on other roads,” SVR Mayor Kathleen Buyers said following the town council meeting May 14.

“We also have two bridges that need to be replaced. That will be in the fall. They go over Cedar Creek and we will do those one at a time,” the mayor advised. “All the permitting together has taken over a year. They need to be replaced. Public safety is important. “

“Another big project is water” she said, acknowledge the extensive work that has been completed on the community’s water system. “This is the last project we will have as far as [water] lines. After this project is done we will have replaced all of our lines in town.”

The mayor noted the lines provided over 300 fire hydrants in the town.

Speaking in general of this summer at the Ranch, “There are a lot of new homes and lots of construction. We are staying busy.”
