Ellie Miles

Ellen “Ellie” Johanna Miles, 41, unexpectedly passed away on June 7th, 2024. She was born on September 2nd, 1982, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend.

Ellie attended Jackson Hole High School and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in secondary education with a minor in Spanish. While working for the Teton County School District she received her masters in education at Grand Canyon University. She loved being a teacher and was always dedicated to her students’ success and growth. She had been nominated for Teacher of the Year multiple times.

Ellie’s love for the outdoors is passed down to her daughters. She was blessed with two amazing daughters: Ava and Kate. She is survived in death by her father Sam Miles and sister Sarah.

Ellie will be remembered for her unyielding love for her children. Her heartwarming laugh and smile, her quick witted humor, and her kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
