• Funds will help family following cancer diagnosis
GOFUNDME LINK FOR MARSHALL WATKINS –
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up for Marshall Watkins, a former Star Valley resident who is now facing a battle with Thyroid Cancer. Watkins’ wife, Ashley, said he was admitted to the hospital on May 26 to find out his kidneys and liver are shutting down, receiving a diagnosis of Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). In addition, he was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, or Thyroid Cancer.
According to Ashley, Marshall have surgery to remove parts or will need a kidney transplant in all of his Thyroid.

He was the main provider for his family, including four young children between the ages of one and nine. Donated funds will be used by the family to help cover medical expenses and supplement for lost income.
Marshall graduated from Star Valley High School in 2013. He was part of the Braves football and wrestling teams.
