In true Star Valley fashion, a local cowboy showed off his water skills on Palisades Reservoir over the weekend.

While at the reservoir with a group of young men over the weekend, Jared Clinger of Freedom decided to show them how it was done. He jumped in the water with his long sleeved shirt, wranglers and boots still on. Clinger, at 52 year of age, then proceeded to be pulled behind the boat on a wakeboard.

Apparently this was not the first time either. A picture sent by Rob Heiner shows another time Jared was on the water, while still wearing his cowboy hat. Speaking of the most recent incident, Jessica Clinger said “At least this time he didn’t lose his cowboy hat (that we know of).
