Alpine Library Annual Book Sale

• Fundraiser to help with library programs

Provided by Alpine Branch Library

It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year–time for the Friends of the Alpine Library Annual Book Sale! This year we have a lot of nice items in a variety of categories. Fiction, Nonfiction, Children’s books, hardcovers, paperbacks and tons of DVDs.  And the prices definitely can’t be beat.  Adult hardbacks are only $1 and paperbacks are 50 cents. Children’s hardbacks are 50 cents; paperbacks are 25 cents.

Not only is our annual sale a fundraiser for the Friends of the Alpine Library, which supports programming and other projects at the library, it is an effective way to promote literacy in our community.  We love to get books into the hands of people who want to read them!

The book sale runs for a full week, Friday, August 9 – Saturday, August 17 during library hours at the Alpine Branch Library.

We truly appreciate all of our volunteers and customers who make this great event possible, so as a bonus, those who help set up on Thursday, August 8 from 10 am – noon will get first chance to purchase. This will be the only early bird opportunity. If you would like to assist with the sale stop in or call the library at 307-654-7323 to sign up.

In the spirit of getting books out into the community, everything is free to teachers on the last day of the sale, Saturday, August 17 from 10:00 AM – Noon.   We hope to see you there!
