• Relocation will take place next year.

Preliminary work has begun on Strawberry Road south of the Thayne Rest Area. The road will eventually be moved to the north where it intersects with Highway 89 just before heading into The Narrows area, providing more line of sight for those entering and leaving Highway 89.

“The contractor, Avail Valley Construction, will be doing dirt work this fall,” stated County Engineer Amy Butler with the Lincoln County Engineering Office. “This work will be clearing the area of new alignment and placing fill. The work will go through October. Pending weather the contractor will start back up in May. The project is scheduled to be finished next construction season.”
