The festivities for the 2024 Homecoming theme had a military theme as veterans from around the area were involved with the team for activities and will also be honored prior to Friday night’s kickoff. Each year the team wears a “On The Shoulders Of Giants” helmet sticker which generally honors a previous SVHS team. This year, the sticker commemorates the crew of the ‘Star Valley’ a B-24 Liberator which crashed in France in the late days of WWII and was named after the area and one of their crew from Afton.
