The Wyoming Department of Transportation and Ames Construction have resumed work on Teton Pass (Highway 22) at milepost 12.8, the location of the Big Fill Slide. According to WYDOT, work will take place for the next four weeks at night with crews focusing on placing lightweight fill material, weather permitting. A manually operated signal will be used to control traffic during nighttime hours, but daytime drivers will see flaggers and brief delays along with intermittent lane closures with alternating traffic at night. WYDOT says daytime traffic will see minimal impacts. Work is expected to resume in the spring, with the goal of rebuilding the permanent road by July of 2025.

The road was closed for multiple weeks following a massive landslide in June that caused the collapse of the road. Emergency construction took place to build a temporary road.
