Two 10 hen flocks available with one rooster for each flock. Birds are 2 years old. This breed is prized for big and meaty carcasses, auto-sexing function, gentle temperament, beautiful feathers, lay large brown eggs. Roosters are very watchful and the breed does well free range. Our chickens have only had non-GMO feed plus kitchen scrapes and what bugs and vegetation they get for themselves. Purchased from Murray McMurray Hatchery and Cackle Hatchery. Vaccinated for Marek's Disease and Coccidiosis at hatchery.
Current life circumstances make it hard for us to keep our large flock, but we will get this breed again and recommend it to anyone.
