Kemmerer Lions Club Ice Fishing Derby Winners Announced

275 anglers braved the -16 degree weather on Saturday morning and blizzard conditions on Sunday to compete in the 40th annual Kemmerer Lions Club ice fishing derby held on February 17th and 18th.

The overall big fish prize was caught by Jeremiah Johnson from Green River with his 21 ½ inch Rainbow Trout.

Big fish on Saturday were awarded to Zeb Shillcox from Green River, Levi Adams from Kemmerer, and Robin Clark from Diamondville.

Sunday big fish were awarded to Wes Miller from Kemmerer and Rich Antila from Grand Junction, Colorado.

Big fish caught by a women was awarded to Sandy Crandell from Layton, Utah.

Youth big fish were awarded to Luke Hatcher from Lehi, Utah and Kyson Jones from West Haven, Utah.

Winner of the youth drawing for the Wyoming Game and Fish life time fishing license and conservation stamp was won by Noah Stiefvater from Alpine.

Kemmerer Lions Club President and derby sponsor Mark Ristau presents the over all big fish of the fishing derby award of $1,000.00 to Jeremiah Johnson of Green River for his 21 1/2 inch Rainbow trout.
