Lady Braves notch fifth win in last six games
The Lady Braves (5-7) picked up their fifth win in their last six outings as they dispatched the Preston Indians on their own court, 42-30 on a Tuesday evening match up. The game was a rescheduled contest from January 12 where winter travel conditions scrapped virtually every activity in the tri-state area.
The night was an offensive struggle but the Lady Braves got some big performances. Kenlee Engelhardt finished with 11 points but hauled in 14 rebounds during the honest.
Emily Dana collected a double-double with a team-high 12 points and also compiled 12 rebounds. Mikayla Christiansen scored eight points, Sheridan Coles scored seven and Bailey Erickson led the team with five steals.
The ladies cleaned the glass as they out-rebounded the Indians 48-29.
Another road game is on tap for Thursday evening as Star Valley travels to Evanston for 4A Southwest play. Tip-off time for the game from EHS will be 6 p.m. Look for the watch link here at svinews.com.
