With 10 years of experience in Green Bay Wisconsin, Shanon Wendricks brought her business Wild Stitch to Alpine recently and offers a wide variety of sewing and alteration services to western Wyoming.

“People come to me for things that need repaired or altered,” Wendricks explained. “If they have ideas for things they would like made, I can do that.”

Wendrick’s experience covers  several areas.  “I do a lot of bridal work and custom creations,” she said. “I make hats and mittens from fur to be connected with local trappers.”

She continued, “I have made baby clothes and furniture, teddy bears, and costumes.  If I can do it — I do it!.”

With her experience Wendricks emphasized her work on specific projects. “My favorite is custom work for costumes and bridal work,” she pointed out.

Her talent is not limited to clothing, She has done larger projects for outdoor protection. “I have done a number of enclosures for power boats and awnings for docks.”

Looking back at all of her creations she said with a smile, “Some of the things that seem very complicated are very easy and some of the things that seem like they should be very easy are complicated.”

You can contact Wendricks at her Alpine shop by calling 920-606-3503.

“I would just like to say that we love being here,” she concluded. “I’ve been here for nine months now and have met so many wonderful people.”
